Mission Statement

Chatsworth Outdoors! is a group of passionate parents on a joyful mission to reimagine and refresh our school’s outdoor spaces. With the help of our amazing community, we’re raising funds to transform underutilized areas into vibrant, welcoming environments that spark creativity, support learning, and bring joy to every student, teacher, and neighbor who passes through. 

We envision outdoor classrooms and garden spaces that naturally extend our science, art, and other curricula—grounding students in the beauty of nature and the world around them. Our dream includes a revitalized amphitheater to host art shows, poetry slams, and movie nights, and to serve as a gathering place for parents, faculty, and friends during back-to-school nights, concerts, and special events.

Together, we believe in the power of beautiful spaces to build connection, inspire play, and reflect the spirit of Chatsworth—where community blooms from the ground up!
